Will this Breather Pipe fit my Vanagon?

This pipe is designed to fit all 2WD Vanagon models from 1983 to 1991 that have a plastic filler neck. Please note that it is not compatible with Syncro models.

Is this a genuine part or an aftermarket replacement?

This is a quality aftermarket fuel filler breather pipe designed to provide a reliable fit and function for your vehicle.

Do you have any tips for installing the breather pipe?

For an easier installation, we recommend adding some silicone lube to the barb end to help it slide into the tank grommet more smoothly.

What should I do if the pipe doesn't seem to fit the filler port immediately?

If you encounter a rubber insert on the end nearest the filler port, simply remove it to ensure the pipe fits perfectly into your setup.
