We're proud to offer an improved radius rod assembly for Syncros!

Volkswagen's radius rod was a heavy-duty design that didn't need much improvement. However, over the decades rust often deteriorated the threads so badly that they can't be used for caster adjustments when it comes time for an alignment. This exacerbates their other problem; the original arm is just a bit too short to give enough adjustability for proper alignment, especially on lifted Syncros. Additionally, Syncro owners that want to update to lower control arms that feature the serviceable lower ball joint insert found it difficult to track down this style of radius rod for the project. No longer! GoWesty Engineering for the win! 

Our version maintains the strength of the original arm, while introducing some changes that improved the arm and kept the price reasonable: 
• An extra inch of length ensures that lifted vans can be aligned properly. 
• A two-piece split design with an end that fits both left and right keeps these affordable.
• Fully zinc coated to improve longevity. 

Fits: All 1986-91 Syncro when equipped with OEM-stamped or GoWesty Lower Control Arms. For Syncros with OEM-cast arms, also buy GoWesty Lower Control Arms and Lower Ball Joint Inserts.
